
Kelly Laughton
Kelly is an accomplished IT sales executive and former CIO experienced in transforming organizations using technology as a tool to drive business success. She brings technical expertise and business acumen from years of IT management in both the public and private sectors. She does this by helping clients strategically select and deploy the right technologies for their business and insuring that those IT investments are closely aligned with an organization’s goals and vision. Her time spent working for local government and corporate America gives Ms. Laughton a unique perspective on the needs of clients. She has managed enterprise GIS, represented local government on the North Carolina Geographic Information Coordinating Council (NCGICC) and chaired the Local Government Committee of the NCGICC. ). Ms. Laughton currently chairs the GIS Technical Advisory Committee and serves on the Advisory Board of Carolina Urban Regional Information Systems Association (CURISA).
She was Information Technology Director for Henderson County Government for eight years. For five years prior to that she was an independent consultant, consulting on legal and library automation software. Representing Inmagic Inc. and Summation software, she provided sales and services to businesses and law firms throughout the greater Los Angeles area where she also designed custom database applications for clients. She was recognized as expert in INMAGIC® for legal information management and was a speaker at national conferences.
She has a degree in Politics and Public Affairs from the University of Miami and Master’s Degrees both in Management and in Computer Resources Information Management from Webster University.

Clifton Dunaway
Clifton has over 25 years in manufacturing and IT. Coming from Synesis International as the Senior Systems Consultant, Clifton was the Database & SharePoint Administrator as well as software developer. Clifton is the person for industrial applications, being certified in Activplant, which has helped many of Georgia Pacific plants improve their productivity. Clifton is fluent in SQL Server, SRS, Crystal Reports and Visual Studio. Clif was also the sole DBA for Extended Stay Hotels before Synesis. Clifton has also designed large-scale control systems for many manufactures, working with them to optimize their processes including control system design, AutoCad drawings and project management.
