Acumen I.T. has been chosen by a large company located in Upstate South Carolina to install, customize, and support a Microsoft Dynamics GP system to replace the company’s PeopleSoft system. The Dynamics GP system will be implemented across all business units to integrate all financial, distribution, project accounting, and payroll processes. The company conducted an extensive evaluation process of five different ERP systems before selecting Dynamics GP and Acumen. The company expects to save many thousands of dollars on software support and maintenance while significantly improving business processes with the new Dynamics GP system.
The company also selected Acumen to host all of the server hardware infrastructure and applications in its state-of-the-art data center facility in Greenville, SC. Acumen will set up a virtualized server environment for the company, allowing them to access the Dynamics GP application remotely from their office. The hosted solution will eliminate the cost and headache of maintaining the hardware at the customer site while improving overall reliability and performance.
