Acumen is pleased to announce it has acquired Chameleon Networks of Greenville, SC. Acumen will merge Chameleon Networks into its existing Business Communications & Network Services (BCNS) division to support its expanding customer base.
Randy Foster, formerly the President of Chameleon Networks, will join Acumen as a Senior Engineer for the BCNS division.
Chameleon Networks is a network consulting firm specializing in IP Telephony and Cisco enterprise network installation and maintenance. Prior to starting Chameleon Networks, Foster worked for Cisco Systems for 5 years in the position of Channel Systems Engineer for SC and Western NC, providing Cisco partner training and installation assistance for multiple customers in the area. He was also a member of the Bank of America team in Charlotte, NC that deployed over 160,000 Cisco IP Phones for Bank of America’s Cisco IP Telephony network. Foster has also worked for AT&T, Sprint, Nuvox Communications, Bowater and Fluor Daniel.
